The Five Stones is a middle earth visual novel choose-your-own-adventure type game with RPG elements. The game reflects the setting and gameplay style of tabletop RPGs such as D&D.

After being met by a mysterious, ghoulish entity, Josiah, the protagonist, finds his friends gone one day along with their work regarding a discovery they made. The only thing left is a map they constructed giving the locations of five stones and an altar. Can the altar help Josiah uncover the mystery of the disappearance of his friends?
